WILMINGTON — George M. DeVane, 78, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Marie DeVane of the home; children, George M. DeVane III (Pamela) of Greensboro, Connie L. Hair of Wilmington and Avery C. Marshall of Burgaw; siblings, Chester DeVane (Sharon) of Garner, Debra DeVane of Wilmington, Bobby DeVane (Chanel) of Mitchellville, Maryland, and Elaine Phillips, Willie DeVane, Ronnie DeVane and Adrianne Edgerton, all of Wilmington; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Monday, Jan. 18, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington.
