CASTLE HAYNE — Conway Williams Jr., 77, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Barbara Williams of the home; children, Lavola R. Applewhite of Woodbridge and Raymond Davis Jr. and Kim Shannon, both of Atlanta, Georgia; siblings, Benny Lee Williams of Dawson, Georgia, John Thomas Williams of Boston, Massachusetts, and Lucy Mae Williams of Cambridge, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 17, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401. There will be no gathering or lingering. Visitation will be walk-through only. A celebration of Mr. Williams’ life will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 18, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Kindly note that for the protection of all in attendance, current health and safety protocols are in place where masks and social distancing are required.
