WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Doug White, 68, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Born to R.T. and Margaret in Charlotte, Doug attended Independence High School and Boone College and graduated from UNC-Charlotte.
Doug worked for many years in the film industry as a property master and then some years in clinical research before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom.
He is survived by and loved by his wife, Marianne of Wrightsville Beach; sister, Pam of Matthews; as well as aunts, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, friends; and his dog, Duffy.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church, Wrightsville Beach.
