WILMINGTON — Retired Wilmington Police Department Sgt. Thaddeus O. Wadell Sr., 81, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Shenette Wadell of the home; children, Thaddeus O. Wadell Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana, Jeffrey Wadell (Shannon) of San Diego, California, Garry Wadell (Sarah) of Winston Salem, LaQuantis Wadell of Rock Hill, South Carolina, D’Andre Poinsette of Wilmington, and Lena Corley (DeWayne) and Sharon Strong Gill (Warren), both of Rock Hill, South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Livestreaming will be available. Please click here to view the service. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
