SHALLOTTE — Sherman Ray Huff, 70, passed away at sunrise Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the Brunswick Novent Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1950, in Southport, the son of the late Doman and Sally Jean Eversole Huff. He retired from Barnhill on the road construction crew.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Huff; son, Irvin Huff; and brothers, Ervin, Eddie and Herman Huff.
He leaves behind his son, Sherman Michael Huff, and his wife, Amanda; daughter, Joyce Ford, and her husband, Troy; brothers, William, J.D, James and Albert Huff; sisters Elizabeth Ann Lane, Martha Ayers and Mallie Barefoot.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, July 24, at Shallotte Church of Christ, 304 Bricklanding Road S.E., Shallotte. His cremains will be buried in Bennettsville, South Carolina, next to his wife Brenda.
