RIEGELWOOD — John David Gore, 43, died Friday, April 3, 2020, at his home.
David was born March 27, 1977, in Wilmington to the late John William Gore Jr. and is survived by his mother, Cheryl Gore- Hammond, and her husband, Dan. He was a graduate of East Columbus High School and a 23-year employee of International Paper.
Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Mildred L. Gore; son, Seth William Gore, daughter, Isabelle Gray Gore, and their mother, Shawn C.Gore; sister, Lisa Gore George, and her husband, Jody; uncle, Dale Wayne, and his wife, Sally; and nieces, Hannah Evans and Emily George. David also is survived his girlfriend, Jessie Russ, and her children, Riley, Jayce and Bella Russ.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, a service will be planned at a later date.
The family would like memorials directed to the ADR Fire-Rescue, 100 John Riegel Road, Riegelwood, NC 28456.
