BOLIVIA — Deacon Robert F. Hewett, 72, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the hearts of his wife, Brenda Hewett of the home; siblings, Margaret L. White and Haweda Ted Hewett, both of Bolivia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 3, at Davis Funeral Home, 1705 Southport Supply Road, Bolivia. (No gathering or lingering.) A celebration of Deacon Hewett’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2100 Zion Hill Road S.E., Bolivia. Interment will follow in church cemetery. Per the executive order from Governor Roy Cooper, the maximum number of guests allowed during a visitation or funeral service will be 50 people. Due to this executive order, the funeral service will be private per the family’s request.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Building Fund of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Deacon Hewett’s memory.
