WILMINGTON — Robert H. Murphy, 73, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2020.
His love and memories will remain in the heart of his wife, Gwendolyn Murphy of the home; daughter, Alecia Murphy of Wilmington; siblings, William Howard (Arlene) and Kenneth Howard, both of Wilmington, and James Howard, Cynthia Middleton (Frank) and Wanda Howard, all of Raleigh; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Mr. Murphy’s life will be conducted at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Calvary Memorial Cemetery.
