
WINNABOW — Stephanie Lynn Mobley, 52, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
Stephanie was born Dec. 4, 1966, daughter of the late David M. Lovett and Phyllis R. Lovett. Stephanie graduated from South Brunswick High School, Class of 1985. She attended Miller Monte College after high school and worked at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in the claims department. From there, she went to Guilford Technical Community College in Greensboro, completing a chiropractic assistant certification. Later, she became an insurance agent with Nationwide Insurance. She loved helping everyone she met. Stephanie was a member of Peace Memorial Baptist Church, where she grew up attending with her grandparents.
Survivors include her husband and love of her life, James R. Mobley, to whom she was married for 22 years; brother, Mitchell L. Lovett of Winnabow; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25, at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vic Potter officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Brendle, Scotty Humphrey, Joel Lovett, Stevie Sullivan, Randy Watts and Rusty Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Fraisel, Herbert Johnson, Bud Maultsby and Larry Young.
