WILMINGTON — Katie C. Nixon, 95, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Addie Nixon Dunlap of Wilmington; and brother, Wesley O. Nixon of Wilmington.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A celebration of Ms. Nixon’s life will be conducted at noon, Thursday, Oct. 24, at Price Cathedral AME Zion Church, 1201 Orange St., Wilmington. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
