WILMINGTON — Jeffrey R. “Jeff” Webber, 57, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was born in Rocky Mount to Larry and Lela Webber.
He was preceded in death by his father and sisters, Pamela Gayle and Amanda Beatrice Freeman (Albert).
Jeff is survived by his wife, Stacie; son, Alexander (Megan); daughter, Toni; grandchildren, Emery Grace, Holden Keith and Marley Stephanie; sister, Sharon Rue and her husband; brothers, Larry Jr. (Debbie), Robert Sr. (Joyce) and Alan; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jeff was employed by the City of Wilmington for almost 29 years. He attended Peace Baptist Church of Wilmington. He was a graduate of John T. Hoggard High School. Jeff served his country with honor and distinction in the U.S. Army.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 6, at Peace Baptist Church 320 Military Cutoff Road, Wilmington.
