KURE BEACH — Richard Rudolph Skipper, 83, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Brunswick County to the late Lawrence Richard Skipper and Mamie Mintz Skipper.
Richard served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Hess Oil Company.
Survivors include his son, Gary Richard Skipper; daughter, Marla Skipper Zebraski; granddaughter, Brooke Nicole Zebraski; son-in-law, Michael George Zebraski; sister, Joyce Midgett; brothers, Robert Lee Skipper and John Skipper; and special nieces, Connie Midgett Barnhill and Vivian Midgett Powell.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 20, at Andrews Valley Chapel with Gordon Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
