SHALLOTTE — Tina Laverne Huddleston, 55, died Friday, May 3, 2019, at her home. Tina was born March 20, 1964, in New London, Connecticut, to Marvin Eugene Huddleston and Irene Paulsen Hewett.
She enjoyed playing bingo and loved her animals and cake decorating.
She is survived by her mother, Irene P. Hewett (Frank) of Shallotte; two daughters, Katie James (Jerry) of Shallotte and Elishia Grice (Bill) of Supply; son, Danny Rogers (Tonya) of Wilmington; two brothers, Richard Huddleston (Faye) of Wilmington and Keith Huddleston of Old Dock; sister, Janice Yow of Wilmington; and six grandchildren, McKenzi, Gerald, Natalie, Tristan, Alexis and Austin.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 9, at White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Irene, and Frank Hewett, 2449 A.I. Clemmons Road, Shallotte.
