WILMINGTON — Hoda E. Habashy Hanna, 71, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at NHRMC following a long illness. She was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Egypt to the late Saleh and Aida Morcos Habashy.
Hoda and her husband, Ezzat, lived in Manhasset, New York, for 35 years before coming to Wilmington.
Hoda is survived by her husband, Ezzat Hanna; son, Antony Hanna; daughter, Maryann Hanna, and her husband, Wael; brother, Hany Habashy, and his wife, Rita; sister, Mona Habashy, and her husband, Fathey; brother-in-law, Refaat Hanna, and his wife, Amal; sisters-in-law, Janet Anise, Nadia Shaker and Odet Shaker, and her husband, Zaher Kamel.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 7, at Quinn McGowen Funeral Home, Wilmington. Graveside services will be held at noon, Friday, March 8, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Wilmington, with Pastor David Robinette officiating.
