WILMINGTON — Alfonza Walker Sr., 82, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019.
He is survived by his daughters, Diann Walker of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and Lynita Walker of Wilmington; sons, Alfonza Walker Jr. (Denise) of Greenville, Tennessee, Ivory Lee Walker (Faye) of Carolina Beach and Henry Walker (Shavonny) of Wilmington; sister, Delores Lyle of Wilmington, Delaware; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. A celebration of Mr. Walker’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington. Interment will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.
