SUPPLY — Elder James Kermit Douglas, 72, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.
He is survived by his wife, Lena R. Douglas; children, Contina Bryant (Charles) of Supply and James Brian Douglas (Tawana) of Aiken, South Carolina; siblings, Regina Randolph-McKay of Raleigh and Reginald Randolph (Beverly) of Whitsett; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at Davis Funeral Home, 901 S. 5th Ave., Wilmington.
A celebration of Elder Douglas’ life will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, at Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 45 North Piney Grove Road NE, Bolivia. Interment will follow in Pine Forest Cemetery.
