A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 12, with the Rev. Richard Elliott officiating, at St. Andrews on the Sound Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall.
Everyone who knew Louise, will miss her smile. She loved having fun with family and friends, playing softball in high school, and then later, tennis, bridge, golf, fishing and camping. She and her husband were fortunate to live on the water in many of their homes, where they enjoyed many years with each other, family and friends. Her family will greatly miss all the holidays she hosted over the many years gathering the many generations together as her family grew and changed. We have been very blessed by her life and love.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 or St. Andrews on the Sound, 101 Airlie Road, Wilmington, NC 28403.
