HAMPSTEAD — It is with great sadness that the family of Lu Ann Souders Stewart, 61, announces her passing Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.
Lu Ann was named Multiple Sclerosis Mother of the Year of the Multiple Sclerosis Eastern Chapter in 1994.
Lu Ann will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 43 years, Rusty, and his children, Tommy Stewart, and his wife, Lynn, and Kristian Davis, and her husband, Jeffrey. Lu Ann will also be fondly remembered by her granddaughter, Madison Stewart; and grandson, Parker Strickland.
A visitation in memory of Lu Ann will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Benson PFWB. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, at her home, 1172 Mallard Bay Road, Hampstead.
