WILMINGTON — Joyce Brame Montgomery, 79, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was born April 6, 1939, in Raleigh.
Joyce previously worked as branch manager with Countrywide Home Loans Inc. and also with Barclays American for 28 years. She was a member of the Wilmington Regional Association of Realtors and Wilmington Women’s Council of Women Realtors. She was a dedicated member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Montgomery.
She is survived by many caring and loving friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Road, with visitation starting at 1 p.m. until the start of the service hour. A graveside service will be held at noon, Monday, Aug. 6, at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name to Freedom Baptist Church, 802 N. College Road, Wilmington, NC 28405.
