KURE BEACH — Annamarie Nancy Grissler, 79, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Staten Island, New York, and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. She was married to her lifelong soulmate and partner of 59 years, Frank Grissler.
Annamarie was a district account manager for AIG Corporation for 21 years, and upon her retirement in 1998, they relocated to Kure Beach.
Annamarie is survived by her spouse, Frank Grissler; children, Jeffrey Peter Grissler, Doreen Catanzaro and Christine McIntyre, as well as their spouses; grandchildren and great-grandchild; and many other family members and friends.
Annamarie was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as well as a cantor and choir member. Annamarie had many passions and hobbies including cooking, art, piano and singing. She lived to sing and was proud to be a part of the Harmony Belles Group since 2009. She also loved traveling the world with her husband, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, May 24, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6650 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington.
