SOUTHPORT — Robert Lee “Bob” Palmquist, 67, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Bob was born July 10, 1950, in Michigan to the late Donald and Elizabeth Palmquist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam Conflict. Bob was an active board member for the Brunswick Aquatic Club for the past three years. He enjoyed reading, shooting and spending time on the range at the Ant Hill Gun Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Palmquist.
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Palmquist; son, Jeremiah Palmquist (Amy Carballo); two brothers, Michael Nault and Patrick Nault; two sisters, Cathy Schumacher and Mary Curtis; grandson, Devin Lee Palmquist; and his best friend, Chuck Johnson.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 8, at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Home Chapel.
