
LELAND — Brandon Paul Jackson, 35, escaped his earthly bonds during the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, and is now present with the Lord. His grandfather, Kenneth McCoy, awaited him there, along with his grandmother, Joyce Matthis.
He leaves behind his father, Butch Jackson (Terri) of Riegelwood, N.C.; mother, Gloria Holland (Rex) of Wilmington, N.C.; the love of his life, Melody Jackson; children, Desiree Alexander and Kenneth Jackson; stepchildren, Tyler Autry and Megan Autry; grandfather, Charles Matthis; grandmother, Shirley McCoy; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Brandon enjoyed riding four wheelers, spending time with his family, and teaching his son Kenneth to fish. His love of life and his infectious laugh will forever be remembered.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 2, at Prosper Baptist Church of Delco. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 3, at the church.
