SHALLOTTE — Mary Evelyn Salter, 82, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018.
Born March 13, 1935, in Lake Park, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Daniel E. Rykard and Missouri Kent Rykard.
Surviving are her husband Louis “Lou” Salter; daughter, Mary (Kathy) Meissner (Kurt) of Shallotte, N.C., daughter-in-law, Ellen Salter of Valdosta, Ga.; brother, Jimmy Rykard (Ann) of De Riddler, Ga.; and sister, Rachel Gill, Live Oak, Fla.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 24, at Camp United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
