WILMINGTON — Ronald Michael Wright, son of the late Alfred and Irene Wright of Lake Placid, Fla., passed Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, in Wilmington, N.C.
He was a graduate of Southwest Miami High School in Miami, Fla. He was employed with Eastern Airlines in Miami and Tampa, Fla., and Greensboro, N.C., for 27 years and FedEx for 10 years.
Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Wright.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wright of Wilmington; children, Tammy Campbell of Greensboro, N.C., Mike Wright (Cathy) of High Point, N.C., and Heather Hetzell (Brian) of Wilmington, N.C.; brother, Don Wright (Grovene) of Cartersville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Friday, Nov. 17, at Harbor United Methodist Church, Wilmington. Visitation will occur at the church prior to the funeral service from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
