ONSLOW COUNTY — James Phillip Weary, 73, born Feb. 19, 1944, in Roxboro, N.C., died Aug. 16, 2017, in Wilmington, N.C.
Mr. Weary was of Baptist faith.
Mr. Weary was preceded in death by his father and mother, Leo and Martha Weary; brother, Leo Jr.; and sister, Margaret Bullock.
He is survived by his brother, George Weary; four sons, James Jr., Dennis Weary and Harold and Ronald Adcock; daughter, Angela Reaves; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Providence Baptist Church, Holly Ridge, N.C.
