WILMINGTON — Kristin Ann Milone, 30, went to be with our heavenly father on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, following a brief illness.
Kristin’s sweet spirit, infectious smile and vibrant personality will forever be cherished in the lives of all who loved her.
With Kristin’s passing, we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day, she will forever remain in our hearts.
Kristin is survived by her mother, Susan Statler of Wilmington; father, John Milone of Wilmington; fiancée, Stacy Soles of Wilmington; paternal grandmother, Bobbi Caldwell of High Springs, Fla.; sisters, Heather Licayan (Darrell) of Charleston, S.C., and Melanie Cooper (James) of Raleigh, N.C.; and brothers, Brandon Baker and Johnny Milone, both of Wilmington.
Kristin was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James and Edith McBroom; and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Milone.
A memorial service to celebrate Kristin’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st St.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the New Hanover Humane Society, 2405 N. 23rd St., Wilmington, NC 28401, in memory of Kristin would be greatly appreciated.
