Dudley McGough, age 93, of Wilmington, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 26, 1922, in McGehee, Ark., the son of Cager McGough and Willie Tucker McGough.
Dudley served his country with honor and distinction as a master gunnery sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corp., retiring after almost 28 years of service.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel, 1535 S. 41st St., Wilmington, N.C.
A presentation of military honors will be rendered in recognition of Dudley‘s honorable and faithful service to his country.
