Dawn Denise “DeeDee” Horne Pulley passed away on July 20, 2016.
She was born Dec. 19, 1972, and was a devoted mother and wife and a special daughter who loved her family “to the moon and back.”
DeeDee was a graduate of Wake Community College with a degree in nursing. As a nurse she was passionate about her work and the care of her patients and families. She had a smile that always would light up a room when she entered. She loved the beach and the mountains. She loved the Lord and her church family at Seaside Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Danielle Horne.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Pulley; son, Christopher Pulley; parents, Ken and Dianne Horne; brother, Richard Horne (Amanda Sterling); sister, Kris Horne Royster (Eddie); father- and mother-in-law, Don and Theresa Pulley; sister-in-law, Diane Pulley (Randy Henderson); brother-in-law, Neil Pulley (Tammy); nephews, Jack Horne and Dylan Royster; nieces, Abbie and Lyndsey Horne and Ellee Royster; and many loving relatives and friends. She also had a special extended family, the Barker family, whom she loved.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Seaside Chapel, 100 S. 8th St., Carolina Beach, N.C.
