Frances Earlene Mallard, 86, of Wilmington, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016. She was born in Horry County on October 29, 1929, to the late Rossie Ned Fowler and Daisy Allen Todd. She retired as a master printer and had worked for the Star News and Norfolk Ledger Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Mallard; and son, Jackie Lee Milliken.
She is survived by her son, George Ned Milliken of Manning, S.C.; daughter, Marilyn Milliken Rinehart, and her husband, David Rinehart, of Wilmington; granddaughters, Deanne Milliken of Riegelwood and Jodi Heath Webb, and her husband, Louis Webb III, of Wilmington; and three great-granddaughters, Courtney Settlemyre, Lauren Settlemyre and Sophie Webb of Wilmington.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 27, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 28, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens, 306 Bradley Creek, Wilmington.
