Wade Lee Malpass, 80, passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at his home in Winnabow.
He was born in Columbus County on April 14, 1935.
Wade was a professional truck driver and worked for Kenan Transport for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Dolly Malpass; two daughters, Tammy Simmons and Michelle Ikner; brothers, George Malpass and Linwood Malpass; three sisters, Joyce Malpas, Nancy Malpass and Frances Shue; grandchildren, Briteny, Daniel, Ashley, Samantha, Melissa, Crystal, Tiffany, Stephanie and Jeremy; and numerous great grandchildren. Remembered is a son, Wade Leon Malpass.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
