Rev. Steve Allen Stout, 68, of Supply, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday Feb. 3, 2016 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.
He was born on Oct. 1, 1947, son of the late Clyde Stout and Mattie Robinson Stout and was preceded in death by the loving wife, Patricia Raye Andrews Stout.
Pastor Steve was a member of Shell Point Baptist Church and loved to preach the gospel. He loved the Lord. He retired from Pine State Creamery after 20 years.
Steve will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his daughters, Hope Brisson of Charleston, South Carolina and Janice Marie Mclamb of Whiteville; a sister, Wanda Stout Todd and husband, William, of Shallotte; two brothers, Phillip “Kitten” Stout and wife Carolyn of Shallotte and Paul Stout and wife, April, of Supply; four grandchildren, Dylan Brisson, Logan Brisson, Chloe Brisson and Rodney Mclamb; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 6 at Shell Point Baptist Church, with Pastor Larry Milliken officiating. Interment will follow in the Robinson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 at Shell Point Baptist Church in Shallotte.
