Cleo Davis Hall, 76, ‘brightened up every room’

Cleo Davis Hall, 76, of Hampstead, passed away at her home on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016.

She was born in Wilson on April 17, 1939, daughter of the late Harvey Clinton Davis Sr. and Gertrude Lucas Davis.

Surviving is her husband, Robert E. Hall Sr.; a son, Robert Elton Hall Jr. and wife Connie; a daughter, Judy Ann Hall and fiance Wayne Morse; grandchildren, Jarod Watkins, Shannon Watkins, Kelsey Hall, Jessica Hall, Sabrina Hall, Andrew Hall and Keith Palmeter and wife, Katie; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special friends, Kerrie Mathews and Maurene Hawkins.

Mrs. Hall was a loving wife to her husband of 60 years, a loving mother to her two children, and had many friends who will miss her greatly. She brightened up every room she went into and loved to garden.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29 at Andrews Hampstead Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30 at Andrews Hampstead Chapel, with interment to follow in Sea Lawn Memorial Park adjacent to the mortuary chapel.

Flowers are welcomed, or memorial gifts may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
