Jerry Dale Hedge Sr., 75, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 after courageously battling a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 1, 1940, son of the late Walter and Ruth Hedge, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Wayne Hedge, and nephew, David Hedge.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy Harrell Hedge; sister Doris Stephenson (Ron); daughter Terrie Chinn (Kenny); sons Jerry Hedge, Jr. (Catherine), Jeffery “Skip” Hedge and Jonathan D. Hedge (Jennifer); grandchildren Andy Chinn (Melissa), Garrett Hedge, Mason Wyatt Hedge, Porter Hedge, Sydney Hedge, Aubrey Hedge, Peyton Hedge and Hudson Reeves Hedge; and many nieces.
He was a US Navy veteran.
Additionally, the family would like to thank Dr. Martin Conley for his care throughout the 30 years of illness.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Northside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
The family requests no flowers be sent.
