Glen Douglas Harshman, of Supply, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at his residence. He was 81.
He was retired from Burlington Industries, a member of Victory Independent Baptist Church in Varnamtown and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was born in Blythville, Ark. on Oct. 7, 1932, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Andrew Harshman. Mr. Harshman was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Estes Harshman, in 2007.
Surviving are his son, Glenn “Eddie” Harshman and wife, Kim, of Supply; stepdaughter, Clara Jean Edmondson and husband, Eddie, of Franklinville; grandchildren, Sasha Daniels, Andy Harshman, Scotty Hauser, Angela Harmon and Christy York; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014, at Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
