WILMINGTON — An emergency sewer repair is taking place on North 23rd Street, requiring a lane shift for drivers.
The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is on site working, effective 9 a.m., after having to reschedule the repair from Wednesday due to inclement weather.
The outer northbound lane of the 1700 block of North 23rd Street is closed, with traffic shifted into the inner northbound lane. Southbound traffic is not impacted, and drivers will still be able to access businesses in the area of the closure.
The partial closure is expected to remain until 4 p.m. Thursday.
