23rd Street lane shift in effect

WILMINGTON — An emergency sewer repair is underway along North 23rd Street and will impact traffic, according to a release from the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority.

The outer northbound lane of the 1700 block of North 23rd Street is closed currently. Traffic is moving into the inner northbound land and southbound traffic is not impacted.

CFPUA noted all area businesses remain accessible by motorists. Crews are finishing up repairs to a sewer service line. The disruption will last roughly six hours, CFPUA anticipates.
