Section of Randall Drive on UNCW campus to close for a week

WILMINGTON — Improvements will begin on a UNCW crosswalk on a section of Randall Drive starting July 25.

Randall Drive will remain open, except in areas near the intersection with Wagoner Drive and the curve of the road at the Cultural Arts Building, a press release from the university stated.

All areas of Randall that are closed, due to construction, will be cleaned and reopened by the end of each workday.

Construction work is expected to take place through Aug. 7 across four phases. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution and follow instructions on signs posted in the area.
