One lane closed on Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Wednesday

WILMINGTON — The N.C. Department of Transportation will be working on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge Wednesday. Traffic may be delayed.

Crews will close the right eastbound lane for maintenance from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. according to a press release. Repairs are needed where grating has become worn on the bridge.

Westbound lanes will not be affected.
