New Hanover ABC Stores to close from inclement weather

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Need to stock up on booze ahead of the winter storm projected to bring sleet and possibly snow Friday and Saturday?

Now’s the time to do it.

The New Hanover County ABC Board announced its county stores will close Thursday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. and remain closed all day Friday, Jan. 22. Stores will reopen Saturday at noon, pending favorable weather conditions.

All LBD Outlets will be closed Saturday as well.
