Positive Covid-19 test suspends boys soccer at Topsail School

PENDER COUNTY — A positive Covid-19 test will pause at least two matches of the Topsail School varsity boys soccer team, to prevent exposure within the program.

Topsail School announced the cancellation of two of its Pirates matches at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary this week — on Friday against Green Hope and Saturday against North Moore. The program hopes to restart by Tuesday, Sept. 7, pending negative tests and player availability.
