Public input welcomed for paid parking in Surf City

PENDER COUNTY — The Town of Surf City is welcoming public input on the paid parking program they plan to implement for the upcoming season.

On Feb. 2, Surf City Town Council voted to postpone the decision on paid parking so the public can have a say. The town will host a a drop-in session on Friday, Feb. 12, 9 a.m., at 102 N. Shore Dr., so the public can speak with staff.

Afterward, around 10 a.m., council will go into a special meeting to hash out how the town will move forward.
