Monday, Nov. 4
The Wilmington City Council will hold an agenda review at 8:30 a.m. in city hall, 102 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here.
Pender County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. at 805 S. Walker St. The public is welcome to attend in person or livestream here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing to add 84 multifamily units to the existing Hawthorne at Hampstead development and unify adjacent developments under one zoning district
- Public hearing for rezoning request for 5.46 acres from residential performance and rural agricultural to a conditional zoning district for the development of a gas station with convenience store in the Holly Township
- Authorization for a $1 million contract over three years with Tyler Technologies
Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will meet at 3 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes an administrative report on the Series 2025 Revenue Bond Refunding Initial Resolution and a request to apply to the United States Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Watershed Protection Program.
Tuesday, Nov. 5
The Southport Board of Aldermen will meet at 9 a.m. in the Southport Community Building, 223 E. Bay St. Meetings are also live-streamed here. The agenda includes:

- Stormwater mapping study
The Wilmington Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. in Grover Plaza, 1402 Little John Circle. An agenda was not posted by press.

Brunswick County Board of Elections will have an election day meeting at 5 p.m. at the Board of Elections Office, 75 Stamp Act Dr. An agenda was not posted by press.
Pender County Board of Elections will have an election day meeting at 2 p.m. at the Board of Elections Office, 807 S. Walker St. An agenda was not posted by press.
New Hanover County Board of Elections will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m. at 1241 A Military Cutoff Rd. to count absentee ballots and discuss other election-related matters.
Wednesday, Nov. 6
The Brunswick County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the Center of Applied Sciences and Technology, 1109 Old Ocean Highway. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Programming for elementary school at Jackey’s Creek
- Forward funding for new elementary school
Pender County Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at the Hampstead Annex Auditorium, 15060 US Highway 17. The public is welcome to attend in person or livestream here. The agenda includes multiple public hearings, including:
- Rezoning request for two parcels, around 4.21 acres, from rural agricultural to residential performance in the Grady Township
- Rezoning request of 11.35 acres from residential performance to conditional zoning for construction of a new building within an existing boatyard in the Topsail Township
North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen will meet at 11 a.m. at Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court. The meeting is open to the public and can be livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing for a special use permit application from Capital Asset Topsail Development LLC
- Interlocal agreement regarding Vitex Eradication Project

The New Hanover County Airport Authority will meet at 5 p.m. at the ILM Conference Room, 1740 Airport Blvd. The agenda includes approval of an annual lease extension for Wilmington Business Development, Inc. and adoption of a new ILM/Wilmington Chamber of Commerce Agreement.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Finance Committee will meet at 9 a.m. at 235 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes a bond reimbursement resolution for multiple projects and a discussion on cash flow and deficits.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Executive Committee will meet at 10 a.m. at 235 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes an executive director’s report and attorney’s report.
Thursday, Nov. 7
Pender County Technical Review Committee will meet at 9 a.m. at the Administration Building, 805 South Walker St. The agenda includes:
- Preliminary plat application for the construction of 1,075 single-family detached units across 444 acres in Lanes Ferry Landing
- Residential development for 30 single-family homes on 16 acres as part of Kings Landing
- Application for the new Pender County EMS Station 9
Burgaw Tourism Development Authority will meet at 8:30 a.m. at Burgaw Town Center, 108 E. Wilmington St. An agenda was not posted by press.
The New Hanover County Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the NHC Courthouse, 24 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
