The Pender County Board of Education will conduct board hearings in closed session at 9 a.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center, 798 U.S. Highway 117 S. Meetings are live streamed here.
Pender County Board of Elections will have an absentee meeting at 6 p.m. at 807 S. Walker St.
Brunswick County Board of Elections will have an absentee meeting at 4 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr.
The New Hanover County Board of Education will hold an agenda review at 2 p.m. in the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

Wilmington Housing Authority’s Community Outreach and Resident Services (CORS) Committee will be held at the Houston Moore at 3 p.m.; an agenda was not posted by press.

The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Board of Directors will meet at 3 p.m. in the WMPO Board Room at 524 N. Fourth St. Meetings are live streamed here. The agenda includes:

Thursday, Oct. 31
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Sustainability Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. at 233 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes an information item for the 2024 Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference.
Wilmington Housing Authority’s Finance and Development (F&D) Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. This meeting will be held at the WHA main office, 1524 S 16th Street; an agenda was not posted by press.

Burgaw Beautification Committee meets at Burgaw Town Center, 108 E. Wilmington St., at 8:30 a.m. An agenda was not posted by press.
