OAK ISLAND — Motorists may face traffic impacts on Wednesday, as crews move a home from Ocean Drive to NE 10th Street in Oak Island.

All of East Oak Island Drive, from Sellers Street to NE 9th Street especially, will be affected.

It will be monitored by police officers, though it’s advised for travelers to avoid the area. Those who must move through should do so with caution and monitor speed through side streets, to be set up as detours
