The program, launched by Beacon Education which also oversees GLOW Academy, will be co-ed and serve children six weeks to pre-Kindergarten. Spark’s education outreach utilizes the STREAMin3 curriculum model, which focuses on physical, cognitive, social, emotional and linguistic learning.
The first of five centers is slated to open mid-October at 1802 South 17th Street. As such, teachers of all experience levels interested in learning more can tour the new space on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. as part of the job fair. A question-and-answer session will be open and there will be an opportunity for parties to submit applications on site.
“The job fair is a chance for current teachers and those interested in a teaching career to learn more about our innovative program and competitive salaries,” according to director Leslie King, as noted in a press release. “It is important to us to not only say we highly respect educators, but to show them with above average salaries, healthcare benefits, and professional development opportunities. We have excited families, curious students, and a phenomenal curriculum model — now we just need inspiring, compassionate, and enthusiastic teachers.”
Pre-registration is not required for the job fair and more information regarding open jobs can be found here or by calling 910-685-8280.
