Monday, April 17
The Kure Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers at 117 Settlers Lane. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing and action on a text amendment to the Kure Beach Code: 15.08.120.I Downtown Preservation Overlay District
- Greenway Feasibility Study
- RFQ’s for the engineering services for the mid-block crossings projects
- Certification of the Kure Beach Land Use Plan

- Consider deed of dedication certificate for phase three of The Bluffs on the Cape Fear
- Public hearing on public housing
- Resolution supporting House Bill 544 limiting shark fishing tournaments

The North Topsail Beach Board of Aldermen will meet for a budget workshop at 8:30 a.m. at town hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court. The meeting can be livestreamed on YouTube.
The Wilmington Design Adjustment Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. at city hall, 102 N. Third St. The meeting can be livestreamed on GTV8 and YouTube. The agenda includes a request for waivers for Starway Village, a 278-unit workforce housing complex on Carolina Beach Road and a request by Pearl II developers for payment in lieu of required open space.
