NORTH TOPSAIL BEACH — The North Carolina Department of Transportation will make repairs on a bridge in the northern part of Topsail Beach beginning next week.

The Onslow County bridge, located on N.C. 210 over the Intracoastal Waterway, requires routine maintenance. To oversee the project, a lane closure will be implemented Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The project will last roughly a month, with traffic patterns impacted through March 20, according to the NCDOT. One lane will remain open to motorists during the duration of the work.

The department asks drivers to move through construction areas with caution and find alternate routes in order to avoid delays.
