CAROLINA BEACH — A Pleasure Island council member was issued a citation for aiding and abetting a person under 21 to sell, give, purchase or possess an alcoholic beverage over the weekend.
Officers were dispatched to a residence after receiving a 911 call about a loud party around midnight on Oct. 30. They identified Hoffer, a member of the Carolina Beach Town Council, as the owner and found underage individuals consuming alcohol.
In a press release, CBPD said no more information will be provided at this time. A police report was not available by press.
