WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department responded to a shooting that sent one person to the hospital Monday morning.
Information is limited at the moment; the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) announced the shooting on Twitter shortly after 11 a.m. According to the tweet, one unnamed victim has been taken to the emergency room after being shot near South 6th and Dawson streets.
