The marine company will host the community meeting on Feb. 24, at 5613 Barbados Blvd.
Bellingham-Marine is an international company that has constructed marina projects around the world, from New Zeland to the Wrightsville Beach Marina.
Once the community input meeting is held, the county’s Planning Board will hear the request and eventually, it will require a vote by the Board of County Commissioners.
While community meetings are generally targeted towards adjacent property owners, the meetings are open to the public as well.
